Celebrations are underway in North Devon. For 23 years this dedicated branch of volunteer fundraisers have been working hard in their local community to raise awareness and funds for CLIC Sargent – and this year they have hit the amazing £1 million mark.

A dinner to mark this great achievement was kindly organised by Ivan Huxtable, who himself has raised over £100,000 for the branch through his annual Variety Show in North Molton.  The dinner took place at St Johns Garden Centre and was attended by many long-term supporters in North Devon.

This successful branch are hot on the ‘fundraising tails’ of their counterparts down in Cornwall, who also achieved this £1 million mark in 2007 – which is testament to the generosity of the people of Devon and Cornwall.
