Mother of five, Eva Haine from Warminster, is hosting a tea and cake morning as part of Yummy Mummy Week, which runs from Saturday 10 March to Sunday 18 March, (Mother’s Day).

The fun-packed fundraising campaign is all about mums doing something yummy for children and young people with cancer, whilst spending quality time with their children, family and friends. The money raised will help CLIC Sargent continue to be there from the point of diagnosis to support the whole family in coping with the impact of cancer, its treatment and life after treatment.

Eva will be filling her house with as many friends as she can fit, to enjoy lots of yummy homemade cupcakes and brownies (and of course a good brew) as she gets involved in Yummy Mummy Week for the second consecutive year.

Eva said, “I came across Yummy Mummy Week when I was looking for ways to fundraise for CLIC Sargent after my best friend lost her brave son Oliver to cancer. I know what a huge difference CLIC Sargent makes to a family having to cope with such a traumatic time, and as a mum of five, I feel so blessed that all of my children are healthy. I live quite a distance from my best friend, so running my Yummy Mummy event in memory of Oliver and fundraising for CLIC Sargent is my way of supporting her.”

“Last year we had a really enjoyable coffee morning, eating cakes, running a raffle and of course lots of chatting. I managed to raise £230 and hope that my tea and cake morning this year will raise even more for such a worthy cause.”

As well as hosting fundraising events, people can also support the campaign by purchasing gifts from the Yummy Mummy product range. With something to suit every mum and all pockets, finding a gift for Mother’s Day couldn’t be simpler.
