Sunday 10th May saw the second annual Greggs Children’s Cancer run in aid of CLIC Sargent. The 1K and 5K fun run was held in the beautiful surroundings of Bute Park, Cardiff.
With a record number of runners taking part, the run was enjoyed by everybody. The sun shone and the crowds enjoyed not only the run but the bouncy castle, tombola and refreshments.
The 2009 event is expecting to raise over £11,000 through registration fees, sponsorship and donations.
We would like to give a special thanks to Ashley’s Army from Bristol who raised over £2,500!
CLIC Sargent would also like to thank Greggs for their continuing support to help children with cancer.
