For the third year running familes from across the west that have recieved support from CLIC Sargent enjoyed a great day out at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire.

Nine families were entertained by a spectacular visit by the RAF Falcons parachute display team and a hands-on flight in the Hercules flight simulator.

Aircraft such as the basic trainer Tucano and a front line Tornado GR4 were flown in for the children to sit in and everyone clambered all over a Hercules. Parents had a fantastic time seeing the aircraft and talking to the crews.

CLIC Sargent would also like to thank Hayley, organised the day brilliantly in only six weeks – after her return from Afghanistan. top of page
