This week saw the 28th annual Welsh Hospitals' Choir Christmas Concert at St David’s Hall, which was a fantastic success, hoping to raise £10,000 for CLIC Sargent.
With great performances from The Welsh Guards, St Julian’s Primary School Youth choir, the Welsh Hospitals' Choir and the very talented David Childs playing the Euphonium.
An example of where the money raised includes - £10,000 - could pay for the running costs and site fees of our holiday caravans for half a year. Families in desperate need of a break can stay in a self-contained caravan in a well-equipped holiday park in Exmouth (Devon), Pagham (West Sussex), Fleetwood (Lancashire) or Filey (Yorkshire). Each caravan has three bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a comfortable lounge.
A huge thanks must go to the organising committee for putting on yet another outstanding concert, as well as all the performers and everybody who came along to enjoy the delights of such wonderful music.
