Mike Watkins, CLIC Sargent Gloucester branch member is celebrating 30 years of volunteering at the Charity. The Gloucester branch was the first branch of its kind to be formed in 1979 and Mike was one of the first members to join.
Throughout the years, Mike has help to raise nearly £2 million for CLIC Sargent. He is currently an integral part to the branch and is one of the main organisers of the very successful annual Dragon Boat regatta in Gloucester.
Louise Oakley, CLIC Sargent’s Events Fundraising manager for the South West said: “Mike is a fantastic asset to CLIC Sargent and we can not thank him enough for all his hard work and support, and we hope he will continue supporting CLIC Sargent and the branch for many more years.”
