Bernard Lee, a long standing and very active member of our Cornwall & Isles of Scilly fundraising group has been awarded the Cornwall Volunteer Award for Cornwall 2009.

With over 130,000 volunteers in Cornwall to be recognised for their great work, we are thrilled that Bernard has been picked out – he certainly deserves it, not only for his work for CLIC Sargent over the years but also for the work he does with The Cornwall Blind Association, rugby and health promotion.

There were 13 categories each having hundreds of nominations. Bernard was shortlisted in two categories. He won the category of volunteering with vulnerable adults. Then went on to win the overall award! Congratulations Bernard.
