On Friday 23 December, Jason Tamplin, Manager of the Budgens, Wells store, visited CLIC House, our Home from Home in Bristol. After raising £1,000 through an in-store raffle, his team at Budgens bought lots of lovely Christmas presents, which they gave out to the children who were staying in the house and also to those facing Christmas on the Bristol children’s hospital ward.
Jason said, “It was great to have the opportunity to hand out the Christmas presents to these children just before Christmas. It really was an emotional experience and one I will never forget. It was such a pleasure to see all their faces when they opened up the presents.”
Jason would like to thank everyone for their kind generosity in helping to raise this money.
We would like to thank Jason and his team for bringing some happiness to these children at a very difficult time.
