The generous members of Royston Rotary Club in north Hertfordshire have raised a fantastic £2,650 for CLIC Sargent.
The Club’s third annual Swimathon, which supported four charities and local swimmers including teams from the 2484 Bassingbourn Squadron and The Puddle Ducks team, from Freeman College, Buntingford, raised a record sum for the event - over £9,000!
A classical concert was also held by the Club in Cambridge’s West Road Concert Hall in June 2008 and was organised by Laurie Parncutt.
CLIC Sargent Community Fundraising Manager Sue Bowcock, met with members including President Neil Guttridge (pictured with Sue) and Community Service Office Chris Hardy at Royston Golf Club to accept the donation.
CLIC Sargent would like to thank members for their support and generosity.
