At the beginning of 2011, Alan Matthews set himself the challenge of running 1,000 miles to raise money for CLIC Sargent and Practical Action.
After completing 182 runs, including eight half marathons, Alan successfully completed his challenge, running a total of 1,016 miles. He has also raised over £1,900, which is fantastic.
You can read Alan’s blog and if you would like to sponsor Alan, please visit his Virgin Money Giving page.
A massive thank you to Alan for choosing to support CLIC Sargent and really well done for working so hard to complete your challenge.
