Foresters Acorns Branch presented CLIC Sargent Fundraiser Dan Powell with a cheque for £5,250 at their offices in Bromley recently. Staff at Foresters UK Headquarters nominated CLIC Sargent as their charity of the year for 2008 and undertook a wide variety of fundraising including cake sales, dress down days and a raffle.
Dan Powell says: “A huge thank you to everyone at the Acorns Branch for their efforts in raising such a great sum for CLIC Sargent. Their hard work will mean that we can continue to support the 10 children and young people who are diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia every day.”
