Matt Loughrey from Kent has chosen to embark on a cycle ride from Land's End to John O’Groats in June 2008 to benefit CLIC Sargent.

His daughter Emily, sadly passed away last June after being diagnosed with bowel cancer at 22 years-old and Matt will take on this challenge in her memory.

With the support of their local newspaper The Kent Messenger, who are running a fundraising appeal, Matt and his family have already raised more than £34,000 for the Charity.

A huge thank you to Matt, Caroline and Jessie Loughrey and to all the Kent Messenger readers for your fantastic support and good luck on the ride!
