When Collette Yates and her friends Helen Slater and Rachel Carr wanted to raise funds for CLIC Sargent they decided on a cake stall with a difference.
They were inspired by cake decorating blog Cakewrecks http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/ which describes itself as 'a gallery of deformed, distasteful and bizarrely decorated wedding and birthday cakes'.
Family and friends donated cakes based on designs from the Site and Brighton Station very kindly allowed them to set up shop on Sunday 29th November.
The stall was a great success and raised over £450. Thank you to Collette, Helen and Rachel and to everyone who made cakes and supported them on the day.
