The Glasgow Freight Club has raised £14,000 for CLIC Sargent from its annual ball.

Around 500 guests attended the event held at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow, which was organised by an extremely hard working committee from Glasgow Freight Club.

Richard Donald, Community Fundraising Manager said: "I would firstly like to thank Stuart McCulloch and the committee for inviting me to such a fantastic evening and being given the opportunity to speak in front of so many people about the services of CLIC Sargent. The fundraising efforts from the committee and all guests was thoroughly extraordinary when we consider that all funds on the night came from donations and a raffle alone.  Many thanks for all the efforts of the committee and all the guests on the night who contributed so generously."
