CLIC Sargent would like to thank Whitburn Juniors FC for their great support. In 2008 the football club raised £960 to help children with cancer. The money was presented by Club Secretary Mr Jack Wright and his colleague Allan Galloway after a recent birthday celebration. A further £175 was raised at The Scottish Junior Cup Draw held at the Whitburn Ground.
Hamish Alldridge, Community Fundraising Manager for CLIC Sargent says: “The backing of a respected and successful club like Whitburn Juniors FC means a great deal to CLIC Sargent, as they represent the heart of community giving.”
CLIC Sargent is looking forward to working further with Whitburn Juniors FC in 2009.
