Inverness became a hub of activity when the 47 teams of the iconic Round Britain Offshore Power Boat Race had a rest day from their epic race. CLIC Sargent supporters, Sarah Fraser and Miranda Knowles of Team Scorpion-Dubois, were the first all-women crew to compete and the only crew to raise sponsorship.

Sarah and Miranda had a well earned rest in Inverness and enjoyed meeting some families that are currently being supported by CLIC Sargent.  The families had a great time too and were treated to a ride in their impressive boat. The Sting is a 10 metre Scorpion RIB, which on the day generated a lot of attention from on lookers as well STV, BBC and Radio Scotland.

Huge congratulations and thanks to Team Scorpion-Dubois for taking part in the race and raising a fantastic £50,000 for CLIC Sargent.
