PI Recruitment brave the Monster Challenge
A team of four from PI Recruitment in Aberdeen have signed up for the First Monster Challenge to raise funds for CLIC Sargent. The 120km duathlon is a relay event for teams of four and the course consists of eight stages - four running and four cycling.
Sarah Evans, Sarah-Louise Kenrick, Ally Caulfield and Nathan Whitcombe will each complete two stages of the course around Loch Ness and must complete it within 12 hours. Each stage of the course presents its own challenges and difficulties and each contender must complete their section before the next competitor can start.
The Monster Challenge takes place on the 13th September 2008. It starts in Inverness and follows the Great Glen Way along the north side of Loch Ness. The team, who are currently undertaking some serious training, are hoping to raise at least £2,500 for CLIC Sargent.
