Murder most foul took place in the Orkney Council Chambers on 30th May. But fortunately the police weren’t involved as a Murder Mystery Evening was arranged by Barbara Leask and colleagues at Orkney Islands Councils Housing Division!

Many of the Orkney Islands Council Officials were there and certain councillors were nominated as “victims'! The Murder Mystery Evening was set in the 1920s and took the form of a Civic Reception, and everyone was encouraged to turn up in period costume.

Barbara and her colleagues provided everything for the evening including the venue, buffet, tickets, posters and prizes. A wonderful sum of £620 was raised for the Allister Boyd Appeal, which has received great support on Orkney.
