Three intrepid cyclists from Aberdeen will be raising funds for CLIC Sargent and three other charities – when they take part in the 100 hour challenge from Land’s End to John o’ Groats - a distance of 856 gruelling miles.
The trio, Doug McIntosh, Dave Forsyth and Mike Strachan, who all work at Bibby Offshore in Aberdeen, will start the challenge on 15 May 2010.
The Charity Challenge Trophy is a trophy, which in 2010 will be challenged for by the three cyclists, and will be open to all cyclists to challenge for on an annual basis in conjunction with the Land’s End to John o’ Groats Association.
From 2010 onwards the trophy which will be kept at Land‘s End - John o’ Groats Museum (located at Land‘s End) will be open to all to challenge for on an annual basis.
