In memory of his son Nathan who sadly died last year of cancer, Gary Kerrigan recently raised a fantastic £800 from an annual golf day in aid of CLIC Sargent.

In support of Gary, and inspired by Nathan’s courage and fortitude, his colleagues at BVT Surface Fleet decided to take on the challenge of this year’s Great Scottish Run and West Highland Way Walk. The group of 20 strong colleagues raised a fantastic £12,000 to help children with cancer. For many it was the first time they has trained for and taken on such a big challenge.

Gary and his friends have now raised nearly £20,000 in two years and are pledging to continue to support CLIC Sargent and help other families experiencing childhood cancer.
