Three intrepid cyclists from the north-east of Scotland will be raising funds for four charities – including CLIC Sargent – when they take part in The 100 Hour Challenge from Land’s End to John O’ Groats - a distance of 856 gruelling miles.
The challenge is a newly formed event developed in conjunction with the Land’s End to John O’ Groats Association and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The Charity Challenge Trophy is a trophy, which in 2009 will be challenged for by Doug McIntosh, Dave Forsyth and Mike Strachan who all work at Bibby Offshore in Aberdeen.
From 2010 onwards the trophy, which will be kept at Land‘s End - John O’ Groats Museum (located at Land‘s End), will be open to all to challenge for on an annual basis.
The trio head off between 1st and 5th September – good luck!
