Staff from the Boots store at Glasgow's Buchanan Galleries got into the Christmas spirit recently and raised over £600 by gift wrapping at Boots promotional events. When staff learnt that a family, who are good customers, had been directly affected by childhood cancer they were more than willing to fundraise.

Jamie Proctor, Team Manager says; "We understood how traumatic childhood cancer must be for families and we really wanted to help. It has been a rewarding experience for us all."

Jamie is pictured with Anna and Janet MacDermid who fundraise for CLIC Sargent through their own charity - The Scots Australian Children Cancer Trust (SCCT). The £600 will be shared equally between CLIC Sargent and the SCCT to help children with cancer.

The MacDermid family are involved in organising the Strictly Fun Ball in aid of CLIC Sargent and SCCT on Saturday 6 March, 2010. top of page
