Katrena from north-east Scotland asked her friends to make a donation to help children with cancer instead of receiving presents for her fifth birthday.
They chose to donate the money to CLIC Sargent as friends had been involved in some of the many Yummy Mummy events taking place, and they had found out about the work of the Charity.
As Katrena’s birthday was on Friday 26th September, during Yummy Mummy Week itself, it seemed more than fitting to donate the money to CLIC Sargent. And like many little girls, Katrena’s favourite colour is pink, so that sealed the deal!
