GMTV host, Lorraine Kelly, really got into the spirit of things, donning a Women's Auxiliar Air Force uniform, to host a big charity bash at RAF Leuchars, in Fife, to raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund, the Royal Air Forces Association, and CLIC Sargent's Malcolm Sargent House in Prestwick.
The themed charity ball was held in place of their annual Airshow which was cancelled due to the runway needing to be resurfaced. During the reception guests were treated to a flying display by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Spitfire and Dakota "Salute to the Few", followed by a three course meal cooked by TV chef, Nick Nairn.
