Students from Salford University are putting on a fundraising event for CLIC Sargent at their local pub, the Pint Pot, in celebration of their friend, Charlie White.
Close friend and fellow student, Charlie White sadly died of lymphoma (a type of cancer) only a few weeks ago, aged 20.
Charlie was a keen music fan and talented musician, and his friends have organised a fundraising gig, with a number of local bands performing in his memory.
There will also be loads of raffles, auctions, cake and chilli sales and poker games to help raise money for CLIC Sargent.
This event will also be the launching point for a series of fundraising gigs around the country – so watch out for one coming to you!
A car boot sale will be on in the day in The Pint Pot car park, so bring along any unwanted Christmas presents or old mobiles and exchange them for something new!
