CLIC Sargent is delighted to be once again working alongside Middlesbrough’s favourite newspaper, The Evening Gazette to promote Kick for Children with Cancer. As part of the relationship the newspaper will feature local families who have benefited from the charity's services and will follow the local schools and youth groups who sign up to take part in the fun footballing event.
The launch is planned for Tuesday 10th March at St Augustine’s Primary School in Middlesbrough who have signed up for Kick for Children with Cancer this year after seeing a leaflet for it from our school’s mailing.
Kick for Children with Cancer, now in its fifth year, is a UK wide initiative organised by CLIC Sargent to encourage children and young people across the country to get out onto the pitch this summer and play football in support of children with cancer.
School that take part can either chose to give all the money raised to the charity or keep 25% for the school.
For more information, or to register to take part in Kick for Children with Cancer, call the CLIC Sargent National Events team on 08451 20 22 32 or register online.
If you would like to share your story with the Evening Gazette, about how you have been supported by CLIC Sargent or if you taking part in Kick for Children with Cancer please call Dee Richardson at CLIC Sargent on: 0113 2307902.
