Yorkshire branches of Greggs – the bakers, will be hosting a ‘Crazy Saturday’ on 30th May ahead of the Greggs of Yorkshire Children’s Cancer Run in aid of CLIC Sargent - the official charity partner.
Greggs staff from across the county will be dressing up as pirates to tie-in with this year’s fun run theme which takes place on Sunday 7th June 2009 at Roundhay Park in Leeds.
In addition CLIC Sargent is to receive a proportion of the sales of Greggs Gingerbread men until the day of the running event. All donations collected in the Greggs Trust charity boxes in Greggs stores across Yorkshire will be for the benefit of CLIC Sargent as well.
For more information and to register for this year’s fun run, visit the Greggs Fun Run or call: 0113 218 0227.
CLIC Sargent is looking for more volunteers to help out on the day. For more information contact Dee Richardson, Event Fundraising Manager at CLIC Sargent on: 0113 230 7902 or email: dee.richardson@clicsargent.org.uk.
