Publication Date: 20 January 2012

On Monday 7 November 2011, the Prince’s Trust xl group at Ysgol Dinas Bran, Llangollen, organised their annual curry night. This year the funds raised were donated to CLIC Sargent.

The 10 students took on the project with enthusiasm and professionalism, assuming the roles of organisers, promoters, hosts, cooks and waiters.

The night raised around £800. This could pay for a CLIC Sargent Youth Development Social Worker for a week. They help young people maintain a sense of normality, acting as a link with school, college or work. They also plan activities to build young people’s confidence and help them live life to the full.
