CLIC Sargent is delighted to announce that Century Radio 105.4 FM has extend it’s one year relationship with the Charity, and will continue to appeal to its listeners to raise funds for children with cancer until the end of 2008.
The commercial radio station based in the north west, and its listeners have done a fantastic job at fundraising for CLIC Sargent and to date have raise more than £96,000.
The partnership has proven to be a real success and Century Radio 105.4 FM have had many fundraising highlights. More than £70,000 was raised through the Bring a Pound to Work day, which saw staff from many companies across the north west donate just £1.
Other fundraising initiatives have included the station’s staff collecting from bikers who were taking part in a local fuel protest and listeners raising money for children with cancer by running in the recent Liverpool Half Marathon. Presenter Monkey Alex James and news hound Charissa Chadderton also stepped up to the challenge at the 2008 Great Manchester Run.
Continuing the partnership, CLIC Sargent and Century Radio 105.4 FM are looking for secret Santas to come forward and take part in the Liverpool Santa Dash on Sunday 7th December.
All money raised in the region from the media partnership with Century Radio 105.4 FM will be spent in the region, caring for local children and young people living with cancer and supporting their families.
