Dee Richardson from CLIC Sargent with marshals from the Loyalty branch of Freemasons, West Yorkshire
CLIC Sargent would like to thank the Freemasons of West Yorkshire, who gave up their Sunday morning lie in to cheer along and marshal at the Greggs Children’s Cancer Run in Leeds on Sunday 7th June. The organisations also kindly chose to present CLIC Sargent with a cheque for £101 raised at a charity raffle at one of their monthly dinners.
Dee Richardson, Event Fundraising Manager for CLIC Sargent, said “We are extremely grateful to the Freemasons for their support. This isn’t the first time the organisation has chosen to help CLIC Sargent and I hope it won’t be the last.
“Events on the scale of the Greggs Children’s Cancer Run simply won’t happen without volunteers and I would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped out at this event, from the Freemasons, to the individual CLIC Sargent volunteers, to the people who stuffed the goody bags the day before the event, to the Greggs employees who helped out on the day and especially to the incredible volunteer committee who are made up of Greggs employees from the bakery in Bramley, Leeds who do all the organising of the event. We couldn’t do it without you.”
