Pupils of music teacher Frank James, are looking forward to being involved in the 7th annual Practice-a-thon concert being held at the Staintondale Village Hall on Friday 30 March 2012. Over the past six years the concert has raised in excess of £1,000 for CLIC Sargent and this year Frank hopes to raise even more for the charity.
Dee Tyler, CLIC Sargent Local Area Fundraising Manager has been invited along to enjoy the evening. She said “It’s wonderful to be invited to this event and to have Frank’s support yet again. This kind of on-going support is crucial to the charity and means we can plan our services better. Thank you to Frank and all his pupils.”
The informal evening of entertainment will see all performers contribute solo pieces, including Frank himself who will be playing the piano and also compering the evening. The performers will be sponsored for performing or practising in the lead up to the event.
