The Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running have announced that the 2007 event, which took place last September has smashed its target and now raised an incredible £65,602.84! The money raised will benefit the event's four official charities; CLIC Sargent, FSNBF – the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund, Headway – the brain injury association and the Alzheimer’s Society.
The event attracted all sorts of runners including families who took part in the fun run and corporate teams who competed in the Coopers Parry Relay. The more serious runners took part in the half marathon and marathon events.
If you still have sponsorship money from the 2007 event, please send a cheque made payable to ‘Experian Robin Hood Marathon’ and write your name, address and the words ‘Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running’ on the reverse.
