Templepatrick football Club recently held a sponsored walk and fundraising evening to raise money for CLIC Sargent.
Willing volunteers walked from the Randalstown to the Chimney Corner Football Club and some even went so far as to have their legs waxed at an event in the club that evening.
Katie Setterfield from CLIC Sargent visited the team who raised a fantastic £500 for CLIC Sargent, as well as a further £370 for their own team. Alastair Cupples, who organised the event, said: “It was nice to be able to do something for people who can benefit from it. It’s the first time this club has ever did anything like this, so we hope to be able to do further things in the future.”
