CLIC Sargent’s Valentine’s Day abseil in Northern Ireland has raised over £1,500 for children with cancer.
Six people took part, and one abseiler and keen CLIC Sargent volunteer, Brenda raised £500 a fantastic alone.
Brenda says: “I really enjoyed the experience and if I hadn’t volunteered for CLIC Sargent I would never have dreamt of doing something as crazy as this. I really recommend doing these challenges because it’s a lot of fun. I have raised nearly £500 so far for children with cancer and I am hoping to do something else next time maybe a sky dive or a zip line.”
Thank you to everyone who took part.
