Local travel company, Mahlatini African Travel, has donated the trip of a lifetime to help raise much needed funds for CLIC Sargent.
The nine day tour of South Africa for two people will be the star auction prize at the Charity’s annual gala ball which is being staged at the Stormont Hotel in Belfast this Friday 7th November 2008.
This year’s event boasts an Out of Africa theme and the fabulous package donated by the travel firm in Castlereagh Road includes three nights in Cape Town at the Cape Riviera, one night in the winelands at D'Ouwe Werf, one night in Oudtshoorn at Montana Guesthouse, two nights in Knysna at Leisure Isle Lodge and two nights at Amakhala Game Reserve at Reed Valley Bush Lodge. Mahlatini African Travel will also be including car hire and there will be £500 cash towards flights as part of the prize.
Christopher Goldring of Mahlatini Africa Travel, which specialises in luxury African Travel, said: “It is an absolute pleasure to be able to support such a worthwhile cause. I only hope this auction prize will generate a huge amount of money to help CLIC Sargent continue its valuable work supporting families at the time they most need it.”
Naomi Conway, local event fundraising manager, said: “We are extremely grateful to Mahlatini African Travel for the donation of this truly fabulous prize. It is the perfect opportunity not only to bag yourself the trip of lifetime but also to raise money for a really worthwhile cause at the same time. What could be better!”
