The sun shone as 40 CLIC Sargent supporters braved the challenging climb up Slieve Donard Mountain in County Down on Saturday 25 April.

Some extremely fit participants even managed to climb the adjoining mountain - Commedagh. The Mourne Mountains are Northern Ireland’s highest and most beautiful mountain range with the summit of Donard standing at 2,550 feet.

Clare McAuley, Event Fundraising Manager for CLIC Sargent Northern Ireland said: “It was a brilliant event and apart from a few sore muscles, the feedback has been fantastic and the event is set to raise £5,000. Congratulations to all who took apart and thanks to my colleagues, Kathleen Burns and Naomi Conway for all their support.”

Well done everyone!
