CLIC Sargent Northern Ireland paid a special tribute to their dedicated and loyal volunteers as part of National Volunteers' Week (1-7 June). As a way of recognising their efforts and commitment, volunteers were invited to Parliament Buildings, Stormont on Wednesday 3 June for a special celebratory evening.
Over 80 volunteers attended on the night and were given an insight into the work of the charity’s front lines services by Suzanne Mooney, Young Persons Social Worker and Naomi Spence, Community Play Specialist. The group also heard from Heather Pollock, a CLIC Sargent fundraising volunteer and Leigh Campbell, who has been supported by the Charity.

The night ended with a special awards ceremony to key supporters, such as Bill McCormick, who has packed over 112,000 raffles, Gary Keenan, CLIC Sargent's Flag Day supporter and Yvonne Conway who regularly helps out with counting money.
CLIC Sargent Northern Ireland appreciates and values all of its volunteers. Thank you for all your continued support. It really does make a difference to the lives of children with cancer in Northern Ireland.
