On Boxing Day 2008 a group of brave people worked off the mince pies with a very cold dip in Castlewellan Lake in support of children with cancer. Cheered on by friends and family, the crowd ran into Castlewellan Lake to raise money for CLIC Sargent Northern Ireland.
Participants where then treated to a warm bowl of soup and a nip of Cooley Whiskey to help warm up after their cold dip.
Over £3,000 has been raised from the event to date.
Well done to all those brave people who took part in the event.
