Nine year old Peter from Bedfordshire recently won a song writing competition run by Song Academy, a children's song writing club based in London, and is now using his song to raise money for CLIC Sargent.
His song, Don't be Down was initially recorded to enter into the competition however Peter’s family also sent the sound file to friends in America who's two year old son, Henry, is currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia. Henry loves the song and his dad sent back a wonderful video of Henry dancing around to it which inspired Peter to try and help children with cancer through raising money for CLIC Sargent.
Peter’s song is now on YouTube and you can watch us via Peter’s JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/PeterBarrington. Peter and his family are asking people to make a donation to CLIC Sargent if they like Peter’s song too!
Very well done Peter!
