Pilots and ground crew hosted a wonderful day at Fenland Airfield recently for a group of young people who are currently being supported by CLIC Sargent.
The young people were lucky to experience a magical flight in a small aircraft, which they all really enjoyed.
Anita Gatt, CLIC Sargent Youth Development Worker says: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who was involved in making this event happen, as the young people really do enjoy this day. It gives them an opportunity to forget about their illness and have a lovely day with all their family. I am sure everyone would agree when you see the smiles on the young people’s faces once they have had their flight it really is worthwhile.”
