Star Radio reach for the stars and win
Following success at the Arqiva commercial radio awards Star Radio has now won a European Radio Award for its community work relating to the idea and implementation of Liam's Mile in support of CLIC Sargent.
The awards ceremony took place in Barcelona on the 5th November. They were up against stiff competition from Radio FM. Bulgaria ‘School for Every Child’ and 98FM Dublin Ireland ‘Care for Kids’.
For Star Radio to be nominated was a tremendous achievement. For them to go on and win was beyond their wildest dreams and the free celebratory champagne was certainly put to good use!
