Local fundraiser, 11-year-old, Liam Fairhurst from Soham, Cambridgeshire attended the recent Isleham one day horse trials to accept a big cheque on behalf of CLIC Sargent for £,5000.
It is hoped that the final total raised on the day will be nearer £6,000 once all the money is collected. One of the local businessmen was so impressed with Liam and his fundraising efforts and the work of CLIC Sargent that he drew a cheque for £2,000 on the day itself!
