Gwen with her new haircut and Karen Roberts, CLIC Sargent Community Fundraising Manager
Gwen with her new haircut and Karen Roberts, CLIC Sargent Community Fundraising Manager
Gwen Ball from Walsham Le Willows wanted to mark her 60th birthday by doing something that her grandchildren would remember in the future.
Working in West Suffolk Hospital catering Gwen sees the families coming through with their children under treatment and decided to shave her head in support of CLIC Sargent and has raised a fantastic £1,000.
Gwen arrived at her daughters to have her son-in-law shave her head only to find that her daughter Joanna had arranged for close family and friends to be there to cheer her on. Not content with having a number two grade all over Gwen then went on to spray 60 in pink on the back of her head! It will be a long time before anyone forgets Gwen’s 60th, especially Gwen!
CLIC Sargent would like to say a huge thank you to Gwen.
