Tudor Rose Wings, a Northamptonshire based motorcycle club, have donated £400 to support children and young people with cancer. If that wasn’t enough, the club have offered to support CLIC Sargent for another year. The members of the Tudor Rose Wings collect for their chosen charities at various events throughout the year and take their Honda Goldwing motorcycles along as the main attraction.
CLIC Sargent was nominated a year ago by two members of the club who were themselves dealing with the impact of cancer.
Claire Shovelton, Community Fundraising Manager for CLIC Sargent, went along to accept the cheque and to say a few words about CLIC Sargent’s work in Northamptonshire, and across the UK.
Claire said “It was lovely to meet the members of the club and to let them know what a difference their support really does make. I’m really looking forward to returning next year to see how their fundraising has been going.”
