The CLIC Sargent abseil at the Transporter Bridge in Newcastle is set to raise more than £10,000 to help children with cancer.

Brave CLIC Sargent supporters faced their fears and descended the 160 feet from one of the greatest landmarks in Teesside.  The event was great fun and CLIC Sargent would like to thank everyone involved for supporting the Charity.

Unfortunately due to bad weather the second of the two planned days of abseiling had to be cancelled. However the event still proved to be a real success raising much needed funds for CLIC Sargent.
