On 4 October 2009, Chris Lambert from Diss will recreate a time trial that took place at the world famous Brooklands racing circuit in Surrey in October 1929.

Back then the time trial took exactly one hour and the 1929 Morris Minor covered a distance of 59.69 miles. At the time this feat was considered remarkable.

Thanks to the generosity of Rockingham Motor Speedway and Chris’ enthusiasm, he will attempt to match the distance covered 80 years previously in aid of CLIC Sargent.
