A house just a few minutes walk from the Queens Medical Centre, (QMC) was identified in early 2008 as the perfect location for a new CLIC Sargent Home from Home. The property, made up of a family house and attached maisonette, was situated at the end of a residential street and offered plenty of space for the six families that CLIC Sargent hoped to accommodate in the new Home from Home.

By mid-2008 plans had been approved by the council to build an extension and carry out some internal alterations to the property. Details of the Home were finalised in late 2008, and the builders started on site on 2nd February 2009.

CLIC Sargent’s eighth Home from Home, Billy’s House has now opened!
