top of page2. Decide what event to hold
You can hold any football fundraising event you like. You could have a sponsored penalty shoot out, a football fun day, a mini-tournament. If you don't want to hold a sponsored event then you could hold a normal match and ask the children to bring £1 to play.
Visit the event ideas section for more great ideas and tips.
We suggest you hold your event between April and August, but if another date is better, feel free to hold it then.
top of page3. Start fundraising!
Give the children as much time as possible to get sponsored. The more they raise, the bigger the difference they will make to the lives of children with cancer. You may want to ask the children to think about other ways they can raise money in advance or on the day?
Don't forget your school or club can keep 25% of the money you raise.
top of page4. Hold your event
Everything you need to help you hold your Kick for Children with Cancer event is in the event pack. However, your local CLIC Sargent Fundraiser will be in touch soon. They will offer you any further support you need to successfully hold an event.
