"We received a letter about CLIC Sargent and it made us realise how fortunate we are to have healthy children. We wanted to support a charity that does so much work for families whose lives are devastated by cancer."
"We decided to set up an Especially For You fund as part of our son’s 3rd birthday celebrations. Children get so many presents and with his birthday so close to Christmas he really didn’t need any more. On the invitations we suggested that people contribute to CLIC Sargent rather than buy gifts and included a donation envelope."
"We held Alexander’s party in the local community centre and his friends and parents came along. We decorated the hall with CLIC Sargent balloons and had collecting boxes for donations. Our friends thought it was a fantastic idea and gladly gave anonymously or by enclosing money with the birthday card."
"Because of the satisfaction to us and the positive response from our friends and family we will be doing the same for our daughter’s 2nd birthday in October. We plan to make it a family tradition!"
