"When we had our children Beth and Fraser christened in June, we knew our family and friends would want to mark the occasion by giving them a special gift. However as they both already have so much, we decided to have a collection for CLIC Sargent rather than suggesting traditional presents.
"We also wanted to remember our lovely niece, Becky, who sadly died of leukaemia in 2004 when she was only three. We know how devastating and heartbreaking childhood cancer is but also know what an important job CLIC Sargent do in providing practical support and care to children and families when they need it most.
"We had a great Christening day and all our guests were delighted to give to such a good cause. It will be nice for Beth and Fraser to look back in a few years time and know that their Christening day helped other children and families. What gift could be more special than that?"
